The Phoenix Bird who burns itself in flame and rises up from the ashes has been a symbol of rebirth
in many different cultures and is still a symbol of healing, rebirth and transformation today.
It can be found in Egyptian, and Mayan cultures as well as Native tribes of North America.
There are many symbols in this painting and the viewer may create or connect on their own personal
level. A Spiritual teacher who is often referred to in connection to the Phoenix is Sanat Kumara.
